Another SNP U turn, so many they are dizzy
There was today however a wee sign of another SNP U turn. When asked about tram line 3 and support for it, the Council Leader suggested that the SNP were "persuaded of the business case..." I think we should be told if this really is another Damascus Road conversion!

It’s consistent with Stewart Stevenson’s new position, and there’s no doubt in my mind that there’s tremendous “bang for the buck” in phases 1b, 2 and 3. So this is one particular U-turn which I think should be welcomed.

Stewart Stevenson has always been a tram fan but then his great uncle used to run the trams in Edinburgh. And you are right, this falls into "thank God they've seen the light" category of U turns!
