A pain in the posterior; no really..
Sunday 4th November
My wife Hilary hurt her back overdoing it to an exercise video on her return from the demonstration yesterday. It seems a daft way to hurt yourself but she has done some serious damage and is virtually immobile. We waited until she had had a nighst sleep to see if there was any improvement but this morning she was still in agony. NHS 24 comes up trumps with quick response as they often do despite their reputation and a prescription was faxed to the local chemists. The days plans for a family outing after church are put hold as I try to keep her calm and two kids entertained. Its at times like this when their 7 year age gap shows and eventually I admit defeat and get one of my sons pals round to play with him whilst I launch into yet another rebuilding of a fairy castle with my 2 1/2 year old daughter, the design of whuch is constantly changing, whilst we sing the entire repertoire of the Tweenies. Hilary meanwhile is quiet and dozing but I am really worried about her.
